AT NORTH RIVER KIDS, our classes offer an environment especially tailored for each age group. We use Gospel Project curriculum that is designed to help kids dive deep into the big story of the Bible – God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ. We want children to learn biblical truth, grow in their love for God and others, and live to honor God in all they say and do.
Classes are offered for Infants through 5th Grade during our Sunday morning services.
NURSERY: BIRTH – 18 MONTHS
Your smallest children are offered a caring, safe, and nurturing environment on Sunday mornings. Through age-appropriate worship and lessons rooted in the Bible, we’re committed to making North River Kids a place where your little ones not only feel loved and valued, but begin to build a foundational knowledge of the truths about God.

TODDLER: 18 – 36 MONTHS
Our toddler volunteers will engage your child in play while lovingly caring for their needs. This classroom also provides learning opportunities including use of songs and stories from our curriculum.
PRESCHOOL: 3 YEARS – 5 YEARS
Each week our volunteers present Biblical truth through the use of engaging activities . Our curriculum for this class includes Bible story time, video, singing, crafts, games and much more! Each portion of our time together is designed to point them to God’s Word.

ELEMENTARY: KINDERGARTEN – 5TH GRADE
Our K-5th graders start the service in worship with parents. When kids are dismissed, they enter into an environment packed with Biblical truth as we engage them in games, a Bible story, video, activities and small group discussion.

A 6-Week Class for Kindergarteners – 5th Graders

If your child has been asking questions about salvation or baptism, our six week class, I'm a Christian Now, will give them a deeper understanding of these significant steps in the Christian life.

We are excited to announce a new kids discipleship program on Sunday nights starting August 17th!
At North River Kids Explore, our Kindergarten through 5th graders will dig deep into a single passage of scripture, learn to comprehend and interpret its meaning and discover ways they can apply it to their daily lives. Kids will learn ways to engage with scripture and make new connections. They’ll even work to commit the passage to memory!
Our preschool Explorers will learn how they fit into God’s big story as they discover four truths: God knows me, Jesus loves me, the Holy Spirit leads me, and I am a child of God.
We gather on Sunday evenings from 5:15–6:45PM in the Worship Center each time we meet.
